Initially, we define what change means to you. Together, we formulate your coaching inquiry and establish benchmarks to gauge the achievement of your desired outcomes.

In this phase, we will boost your motivation by delineating the pros and cons of your current situation versus the envisioned change. It’s pivotal for you to internalize the desired outcome and immerse yourself in its essence.

Deepening insight
Next, we delve into enhancing your personal insight. Drawing from McClelland’s perspective, we unearth what lies beneath the surface – exploring your beliefs, values, competencies, and motivations. Transformation flourishes when you embrace self-reflection with openness, free from judgment or blame.

Practicing and breaking habits
Here, you’ll practice integrating new behaviors and patterns into your life. You may find that unlearning old habits is accompanied by a kind of withdrawal. There will be times when you slip back into familiar patterns. It’s important to be gentle with yourself and recognize that the fight, flight, or freeze responses are natural human reactions to change. During our coaching sessions, we will explore the triggers of these reactions.

Evaluation
The final step involves assessing your progress against the established benchmarks. Are you content with your current position, or do newfound insights lead you to redefine your objectives? If it’s the former, we conclude our coaching journey with a final discussion. If it’s the latter, we revisit steps 2 and 4 to recalibrate your trajectory.

The time varies depending on your pace and readiness to delve deeply. Everyone’s journey is unique. However, the more you invest in coaching/personal development, the quicker you’ll experience growth. As a benchmark, anticipate dedicating an average of 1-2 hours per week, excluding the coaching sessions itself.
The frequency of coaching sessions is tailored to your goals. I offer personalized scheduling options. Typically, we’ll have more frequent sessions at the outset, averaging once every two weeks. As progress unfolds, the frequency may decrease, with a noticeable shift after approximately four sessions
The location can vary. Live sessions are conducted at one of the premises of “Het Coachhuis”. I often organise online sessions which offer the coachees greater flexibility and the convenience of receiving coaching from home.
